The M-22 highway segment between Kaludjerske Bare and Mitrovac is closed to all traffic from 1 to 15 April due to tunnel maintenance.
JP Putevi Srbije informs all road users that the segment of the M-22 highway between Kaludjerske Bare and Mitrovac, inside Tara National Park, is fully closed to all traffic from 1 to 15 April 2026.
The works include the replacement of the ventilation and fire protection systems in the Beli Brod tunnel, as well as resurfacing of the road over a 4.2 km stretch. The works are part of the regular biennial maintenance cycle, with this year scope expanded due to the modernisation of safety systems.
A detour is organised via regional road R-262 (Bajina Basta — Perucac — Mitrovac), with an additional travel time of approximately 35 minutes. Local residents and guests of accommodation in the Mitrovac area may use the segment with traffic police escort during the 07:00-09:00 and 17:00-19:00 windows.
Visitors planning a trip to Tara during this period are advised to adjust their itinerary and use entry points from the Bajina Basta direction. Up-to-date information is available on the Putevi Srbije website and through the app.
