The jubilee 65th Guca Trumpet Festival will take place from 6 to 9 August 2026, with a record number of registered orchestras.
The organising committee of the Guca Trumpet Festival has announced the official programme of the jubilee 65th edition, which will take place from 6 to 9 August 2026. A record 47 orchestras from across Serbia and 12 international guest groups have registered.
The programme retains all traditional elements — competition evenings, the Golden Trumpet award and continuous street playing — with several novelties for the jubilee edition. A special guest stage will feature orchestras from Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and North Macedonia, alongside a dedicated concert marking the 60th anniversary of the first Guca festival.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can browse the local crafts fair, dine at ethno restaurants serving Sumadija specialities, and explore an exhibition on the history of the festival in the village centre.
Tickets for competition evenings go on sale on 15 April via the official website and partner platforms. Accommodation in Guca and surrounding villages should be booked early due to the expected record turnout.
